July 1st, 2026 This past Tuesday, June 30th of 2026, the Supreme Court consolidated and ruled on two cases concerning the presence of transgender athletes in women’s and girls’ sports: West Virginia v. B.P.J and Little v. Hecox (full ruling here). With the announcement of Trump's Compact for ‘Protecting Higher Education’, it is important to discuss the legislation that preceded it earlier this year.
